Right now, we have a team of 20 local Palestinian staff members working on the ground to distribute supplies alongside delivering critical medical support at one of the last functioning hospitals in South Gaza, Kuwaiti Hospital, as well as outreach clinics where the displaced have congregated. Some of our medical and food supplies have also crossed the Rafah border.
Currently:
- ~150,000 people have benefited so far through our work and aid distribution.
- Throughout the month of Ramadan, hot meals are being provided to those in North and Central Gaza, at £4 per person.
- Mobile clinic services are being provided at local schools and areas where IDPs (internally displaced persons) have gathered.
- 8 aid trucks sent through the Rafah border so far, carrying food, blankets, nappies and medical supplies.
- Ongoing salary support to all 160 healthcare workers at Kuwaiti Hospital in order to keep services running.
- Food packs and rations have been provided to 30,000+ people.
- Medical supplies have been delivered to hospitals impacting 17,000+ patients.
- We have conducted ~13,500 medical sessions and examinations with our team at Şhifa Hospital, Indonesia Hospital & surrounding areas (who are now providing services at Kuwaiti Hospital).
- Organised 250 psychosocial activities for children.
